Sandberg Development invests in Reccan
Sandberg Development is a Malmö-based family-owned investment company that, through active ownership in innovation-driven companies, contributes to growth and societal benefit. Through a directed new share issue, Sandberg Development has now joined Reccan AB's group of investors.
Sandberg Development has three focus areas: water technology, quality of life, and security. In recent years, the group has carried out several investments and acquisitions, particularly in water technology. With the involvement in Reccan AB, Sandberg Development now chooses to make a specific investment in quality of life.
"Pancreatic cancer is a dreadful disease. If our investment can contribute to new research and ultimately provide patients with faster and more reliable diagnoses, it is extremely important. Except for our involvement in Camurus, medical research is not our focus, and we will not be actively involved in the company. We have known Reccan’s founder, Professor Roland Andersson, for a long time and want to support the development of more precise cancer diagnostics for the future," says Stefan Persson, CEO, and Group CEO of Sandberg Development.
