Vinnova awards Reccan a grant for support with regulatory documentation

Vinnova has awarded Reccan a grant of SEK 200,000 for the development of technical documentation. This support was obtained through the Medtech4Health call 2023, aiming at strengthening the competence in small medtech companies.

Reccan strives to improve the prognosis for pancreatic cancer patients by launching a new diagnostic test. The grant will be used for competence enhancement within the regulatory field, for the finalization of the technical documentation necessary for market introduction. External expertise in regulatory will be engaged.

The goal is to, through increased knowledge and understanding, meet the regulatory eligibility requirements set for IVD (in vitro diagnostic) products as well as to compile the technical documentation for certification of Reccan’s products.
